Daniel A. Valero is a native of Bucaramanga, Colombia. Like many families of Hispanic descent, Bro. Daniel was brought up in the Catholic faith. In 2001, some amigos invited him to a Pentecostal church service. At the alter call, Bro. Daniel encountered God through a convicting point from the pastor in his direction. Over the course of the following months, God illuminated His truths to Bro. Daniel resulting in the water baptism by submersion in "Jesus Name" on July 1, 2001. In October of the same year, Bro. Daniel received the full salvation experience, when he was baptized by The Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Bro. Daniel found his way to the great state of Maine in summer of 2006, when he followed after his fiancée Erika Florez. Upon arriving in Maine, he sought out a Pastor of like precious faith to marry them. Bro. Daniel and Sis. Erika have been happily married since!

Hearing the voice of the Master, Bro. Daniel begin to have a burden for the Spanish speaking people in the greater Portland area. Now every Sunday service at Faith Temple has available Bible teaching in the beautiful Spanish language. Bro.
